Actons Hotel, Kinsale, Cork
Shali and Rui had a lovely, laid-back wedding in Kinsale, Cork. They’ve been together for three years, meeting at work. Rui surprised Shali with a sweet proposal in Tenerife, even capturing it on a drone video.
Both from China, they’re planning two more weddings back home in October. I started the day at their home, taking photos of them getting ready and capturing some details. We went to Kinsale to pick up Shali’s bouquet and stopped by the hair salon.
Then, we headed to the Cork Registry office for a simple and heartwarming ceremony with their guests. After that, we went to the cozy Actons Hotel in Kinsale for a small celebration with around 20 friends, college buddies, and some of Shali’s family.
They had a nice drink reception, followed by emotional speeches in the hotel bar, kind of like little vows. Dinner was three courses, and, of course, they cut the cake. We also took some photos during the golden hour and group shots to capture the special moments of their day. It was a beautiful celebration of Shali and Rui’s love!
